Feats of Magic in the Wood Shop

All finished and got the stamp of approval by the customer to ship away to Maine.
Tim's feat of magic? Completing these four wood crafts all in one day! I wasn't even there crackin' the whip. The smallest one is a thermostat cover requested by a sweet customer. Like I said, we've been getting a lot of custom orders. Now it's my turn with them :o)
Tim survived his birthday. Here's his birthday cards... a couple funny ones and even a serious one from his sister.
I found me another 11 x 12 old dough bowl. I'll be taking some steel wool to it to calm down that shine.

This candle box is all finished and ready for sell. I need a sunny day to get some good photos. If anyone is interested, give me a shout.

Now I can see why you got a 'customer approval' for this piece...IT'S WONDERFUL.
Isn't it just so pleasing to hear that you did something exactly like the customer had in their mind???
Wonderful new pieces too.
Late happy birthday to dear hubby.
Oh what a beautiful bowl.

Tell Tim Happy Birthday, I missed his birthday Sunday. Love your new work, and custom orders are the best.

Happy Belated Birthday to your Hubby Carol. Looks like he has been busy in the workshop. Love, love that custom piece. And the candle box as well. Don't you just love dough bowls? I have several handed down from family that are so precious to me. Actually have my grandmothers,, the one she taught me how to make biscuits in. Can still see her standing there showing me how to roll them out smooth and pretty. Have a great day.

Not cracking the whip eh?... making the poor guy work on his BD... you slave driver... hahaha.

Gorgeous pieces guys... love the thermostat cover... I could use one of those... mine sticks out like a sore thumb.

Where do you find your great dough bowls Carol... I need me some of them... then I would have an excuse to order one of your stands...lol.

Another great job you two.

Deb

Love the finished piece! The beadboard backing is perfect! Whoa, Tim worked hard! Maybe you should stay outta his way more often, hahaha... I'm just kidding!!

Very nice dough bowl that you found. Yeah, I would tone down the shine also. It's a great piece though!

The bowl is gorgeous. I never thought of steel wool to dull things up. Good idea. 4 in one day? Wow....can you paint all four in one day too:) Love the while shelving with the cupboard. -Steph-
