Happy "First Date" Anniversary!

Well, although I like corn beef, and cabbage, we're not Catholic, but we celebrate St. Patrick's Day for another reason. It is hubby and I's first date anniversary, and we went to my high school's
St. Paddy's Day Dance!
Eight months after we first met, we wed on June 3, 1978.
Now, all these years later, we're lovin' our primitive friends we've made in blog land and their awesome prim creations that adorn our humble home, like my prim eggs made by Traci of York Mountain Primitives, and whose primitives I am truly addicted to..
You'll see a bundle of the hearth side fire lighter candles Traci sneaked into my package for me. Which, by the way Traci, son rescued them. Angie's prims I'm also addicted to her ditty bags, towels, and hang tags. Also, my excellent prim basket from our friend Linda Parker.
I have to show you this rabbit basket that daughter got for me. The head is ceramic and the body is a basket, so it's top heavy. I need to get the right flowers in it for the holiday. I love all my prim friends and their primitves. Thanks for stopping buy all! Have a wonderful St. Paddy's Day weekend :o)
Blessings,
Carol

Happy Belated First Date Anniversary....that's so sweet that you know the date. After breaking my golden rule of never dating customers, my hubby stood me up so many times before our first actual date, I wouldn't be able to even guess the actual "date." (Long, long, story....) ;o) Smiles & O'Hugs ~ Robin

How cool, Carol! My hubby and I's first date was Memorial weekend so it's always easy to remember also. Happy belated First Date Anniversary! Whew, what a mouthful, haha. Love that wedding picture, what a beautiful couple!! I think it's awesome that you two have been together so long after only dating for 8 months, that's definitely something to be proud of!

Traci's eggs are wonderfully prim, love that stitching! I just realized the candles in your candleholder look like the ones I made. If so, I'm really glad they fit something in your home! I had a hard time finding candleholders in my home that they would work with so I'm always afraid to send them to anyone just in case they don't work.

I've never seen a basket like your rabbit basket that is part ceramic/part woven, that is really neat!

Awww, that is such a pretty photo of your wedding and a sweet story too. Hey, and nice eggs! Glad the lantern lights made it in the paper towel tube, LOL... Hugs, Traci
